"Green" energy from 100% Renewable Energy Sources!
ELPEDISON Green Service
ELPEDISON Green is a service that allows you to purchase “green” energy that is produced 100% from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) for only 0,39€/month (VAT is not included).
The ELPEDISON Green service is based on the Guarantees of Origin system (GO), as defined in the Directive 2009/28/EC and the Ministerial decision ∆6/Φ1/οικ.8786 (ΦΕΚ 646/14.5.2010).
The Guarantee of Origin (GO) is an electronic certificate, issued by the DAPEEP S.A. (Operator of RES & Guarantees of Origin), which provides proof of the source of the electricity generated in a RES (Renewable Energy Sources) or CHP (combined heat and power) units during a certain period of time.
With the ELPEDISON Green service, for every megawatthour (MWh) of electricity consumed, ELPEDISON will supply the same amount of Guarantees of Origin, which ELPEDISON secures with local renewable energy (Solar and Wind) producers.
