ELPEDISON was awarded the CRI Silver Award, with a high distinction in the category Environment, in the context of CR Index 2019 – 2020
The Corporate Responsibility Institute awarded ELPEDISON the CRI Silver Award, in the context of the CR Index 2019-2020, recognizing its practices in relation to Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and its substantial contribution to Society and the Environment.The company also received a High Distinction in the category Environment, for its continuous investments in order to adopt the most environmentally sustainable practices and keep on providing innovative services and products, aiming at the continuous reduction of ELPEDISON’s and its clients’ environmental footprint.
CR Index is one of the most important and internationally recognized CSR Indicators, while it is also used as a national CSR indicator in many countries across Europe.

As a leading evaluation tool, CR Index is a benchmark for comparative evaluation of Corporate Social Responsibility performance in 4 sub-sectors: Society, Environment, Employees and Marketplace, while at the same time, it constitutes a necessary step before the official Sustainability Reporting process, which ELPEDISON intends to enter next year.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 30.06.2020, at 16.00, through an online platform.
