ELPEDISON was the major sponsor of the Athens Energy Dialogues 2022, which took place on May 26th – 27th , at Athenaeum Intercontinental. The Company’s Chairman, A. Testi, participated dynamically in the panel with title “RISING ENERGY PRICES AND ENERGY POVERTY”, along with the Minister for Development and Investment and other Executives of the segment.
Mr. Testi, leveraging on market data for a series of years, highlighted - among others - that it is not the market design to be blamed for the increasing energy prices nor for the energy poverty. Also, he pointed out that energy poverty is a complex phenomenon, which is related to the distribution of social justice rather than to the energy prices.
