ELPEDISON undertakes actions that support society and its principles.
The Athens Marathon Race has always had a prominent place in the hearts and minds of sports enthusiasts and not only, as it represents the highest effort where the human body, soul and mind are tested to their limits as the runner presses himself/herself to reach the finish line.
Thousands of runners from all over the world are expected to participate in this year's Athens Marathon, to take place on 8th November, 2015. Apart from the sporting experience, runners from all over the world will have the chance to enjoy the traditional Greek hospitality, discover the fascinating landscape of our country and explore a city which is constantly improving its standards.
ELPEDISON is participating in the 2015 Athens Marathon, combining our spirit for excellence, with our continuous commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
In 2015, we are supporting ELEPAP, a rehabilitation center with six branches throughout Greece and more than 77 years of history, assisting the development of children with physical and developmental challenges, which at the same time provides support to their families and SOS Children’s’ Villages, who build families for children in need, help them shape their own futures and share in the development of their communities.
ELPEDISON continues its support to the Society, promoting the welfare of fellow citizens in need, in the communities where the company operates.
Therefore, ELPEDISON has proceeded in 2015 to the support - through donations – to different Non-Profit Organizations; to "The Smile of the Child", dealing with the daily problems children encounter, to the “Ark of the World”, assisting and protecting mothers and children and to Child Protection Center of Attica, “MOTHER”.
Moreover, ELPEDISON supported the Sports Club of Thessaloniki “Leontes Panoramatos”.
